Semilac
Unlocking Social Commerce for a Beauty Brand with 40,000+ Followers
Diagnosing and rebuilding broken Meta commerce infrastructure to restore Instagram Shop and turn an engaged following into a working sales channel.
Delivered
The Block
Semilac had built a loyal audience of more than 40,000 followers, yet its Instagram Shop was blocked — cutting the brand off from the social commerce its community was ready to buy through. Reach was strong, but the path to purchase was broken.
Hidden Problem
The block was a symptom, not the cause. Beneath it sat a tangle of misconfigured Meta commerce infrastructure — disconnected catalogs, broken permissions and product feeds that never reached the storefront. The real problem was structural, and invisible from the front end.
The Fix
We rebuilt the Meta commerce infrastructure from the ground up — reconnecting the catalog, correcting permissions and restoring a clean, compliant integration between the brand's product data and its social presence.
Commerce Layer
With the foundation repaired, we re-enabled the commerce layer: Instagram Shop was restored and product tagging switched back on, so the brand could turn posts and stories directly into shoppable moments.
Outcome
Instagram Shop is live again, product tagging is enabled and the Meta commerce infrastructure is rebuilt on solid foundations — converting an engaged audience of 40,000+ followers into a functioning social commerce channel.
